Jill Dubuc is a Vancouver contemporary abstract artist known for creating large-scale, textured paintings that explore the relationship between color, movement, nature and emotion.

Inspired by the landscapes and waters of the West Coast, as well as the places she encounters through travel, Jill translates the feeling of a moment into layered abstract compositions. Her paintings are intuitive and expressive, built through layers of acrylic, texture and mark-making that invite the viewer to look beyond the surface and discover something new each time.

For Jill, painting is less about representing a specific place and more about capturing its atmosphere—the movement of water, the changing light, the energy of nature, or the quiet feeling of being completely present in a moment.
